Rama Dal Mill

Rama Dal Mill is located over at Plot No.39 in Sudershan Pura. If you know the 22 Godown area, you know it stays pretty busy with all sorts of small businesses and warehouses. We’ve been operating out of this space for a good while. Most of the time, the air is full of the smell of grain being processed. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. We have the machines running quite a bit to keep up with everything. Sometimes the gate gets blocked by a delivery truck, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage. We aren’t big on fancy titles or sitting in offices. You’ll usually find us on the floor checking the bags or talking to the drivers. It’s a practical setup we have here. People stop by when they need their orders filled, and we do our best to get them sorted out. It gets hot inside during the summer, but we’re used to it by now. The neighborhood has a lot of history with trade, and we’re just one small part of that. We try to keep our equipment in decent shape so things don’t break down when we’re in the middle of a job. It’s hard work, and the days can be long, but that’s the reality of running a mill in this part of town. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting the dal ready. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but we just use that time to sweep up or check the inventory. It's simple but it keeps us going.
