Ram Dal Industries

Ram Dal Industries is based out of Bapu Nagar, right on Road No 9/J at plot F-168. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always a bit of dust in the air and the sound of trucks moving around. We work with pulses and grains, which means our clothes usually have a bit of flour on them by the end of the shift. The building itself is an older one, and the paint is peeling in some corners, but the machines inside run just fine. We don’t have a front office with a receptionist. Usually, if you come by, you’ll have to find one of us on the floor. It gets pretty loud when the processing is happening, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We’ve been at this location for a long time and we know all the other business owners on this road. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny signs. Most people who deal with us have been doing so for years. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and sweating, especially when the summer heat hits Jaipur. We just drink plenty of water and keep the fans going. Sometimes we sit out on the steps during our break just to get some air. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on the bags of dal and getting them ready. That’s our daily routine here.
