Raj Shree Tent House

We are over in Malviya Nagar, specifically at 10/607. Raj Shree Tent House has been at this address for a good many years. It is a tight space, so we have to be very organized with how we stack the mattresses and the decorative cloths. Being in Malviya Nagar means we get a lot of variety in the work we do. Sometimes it is just a small canopy for a street function, and other times it’s something bigger. The guys who work here are local, and we all just pitch in with the loading and unloading. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. My clothes are always stained with something, maybe grease from the truck or just dirt from the ground. We have a small desk where we keep the accounts, but most of the business happens right there on the sidewalk. We don't use any fancy systems. We just write things down in a diary and hope the weather stays clear. Dealing with the traffic around 10/607 can be a headache when we are trying to get the stuff out, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We just try to get the work done without making too much of a fuss. It’s a busy life, but it keeps the kitchen fire burning. There is always another truck to load or another set of curtains to fold. We keep moving because that is how things work for us here.
