Rais Tent House

You can find Rais Tent House at Ajmeri Gate, specifically near Rajiv Chowk at L 30. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve grown used to the constant noise and the people moving about at all hours. We’ve been handling tents and event supplies from this spot for a long time. The warehouse isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy place where we keep all the poles, the fabrics, and the lights. We spend a lot of time untangling wires and checking that the bulbs still work after being moved around so much. The fabric gets a bit faded from the sun, so we’re always sorting through the piles to find the best pieces for the next job. It’s mostly just us working here, along with a few local boys who help with the heavy stuff. We don’t have a big corporate way of doing things. If someone needs something, they just come by and we talk about it over a cup of tea. It’s practical work. Sometimes the rain catches us off guard and we have to rush to cover everything up with plastic sheets. Those are the days when things get really hectic around here. But usually, it’s just a steady rhythm of packing, loading, and then unloading again. We know the streets around Rajiv Chowk like the back of our hands. It’s just what we do, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss. It keeps us going.
