Quality King

Our place is at 296-297 in Raja Park. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and food stalls everywhere. Quality King is a name we’ve had for a while, even if it sounds a bit grand for what we actually are. We mostly sell everyday household items and some clothes. It’s a bit of a mix, really. We just stock what we think people in Raja Park are going to need this week. If it’s winter, we get the sweaters out. If it’s school season, we have more bags and things. The shop is usually pretty full of boxes because we don't have much storage space in the back. I work here with my cousin, and we spend a lot of time just tidying up the shelves after people have looked through everything. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We know most of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes they just stop in to say hello or ask about the weather. We don’t have a fancy website or a social media manager. We just open up in the morning and stay until late evening. It can be tiring standing on your feet all day, but that’s the business. We try to be fair with everyone who comes in and not overcharge for the small stuff. It’s just a normal shop in a normal street.
