Shri Gopal Trading Company

We’ve been here at Gangouri Bazar 664 for quite a while now. Most people know the spot. It is usually a bit crowded around the shop because of all the trucks and loaders coming in and out during the morning hours. We deal with a lot of different items every day. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with the boxes stacked up, but that’s just how trading works when you are busy. The guys working here have been with us for years. We aren’t really fancy people. If you come by, you will likely see someone writing in a ledger or checking the stock. It’s loud because of the street traffic outside, but we manage. People stop by to ask prices or just to see what’s arrived in the new shipment. It is a simple setup really. No big air conditioners or fancy chairs, just a place to get work done. We try to keep things moving so customers do not have to wait too long. The stairs are a bit steep if you are coming up to the office. It is just how these old buildings are built. We know the neighbors and they know us. Most days start early and end late, especially during the festival season when everyone needs things at the same time. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come. Sometimes we run out of tea when visitors come over, but there is a stall just down the road. That is pretty much us.
