Our restaurant, Handi, is located at Maya Mansion on M I Road, right across from the GPO in Jaipur. It’s a building that’s been around for a long time, and we’ve become a bit of a fixture on this busy street. When you walk in, you’ll notice the place has a real sense of history. It’s not one of those modern, minimalist spots; it feels like a proper old-school eatery. The kitchen stays busy from lunch until late at night, and the smell of spices and grilled meat usually reaches out to the sidewalk. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming here for years, along with tourists who find us while visiting the GPO nearby. The seating is comfortable but simple, meant for people who really want to enjoy a meal. It can get quite loud during peak hours, with the clatter of plates and people talking over each other, but that’s just the atmosphere we have here. Our staff has been with us for a long time, and they know the menu inside out. We don't do anything too fancy with the presentation; we just focus on the cooking itself. The walls have some old decor that’s been there since we opened. M I Road is always moving, but inside Handi, things have a steady, familiar pace. It’s a straightforward place to eat, run by people who care about the food and the customers who come through the door every day. We’re just here doing our job.
