The 99Rs Shop

It gets pretty busy down here at 115 Haldiyon Ka Rasta. If you know Johari Bazar at all, you know how the first crossing can be. We are right in the thick of it at The 99Rs Shop. It is a loud place with people walking by and scooters honking all day long. Sometimes it is hard to even hear yourself talk with all that noise coming from the street. The shop is not very large, so we have to stack things up high to make it all fit inside. We spend most of our mornings just putting items out on the shelves and sweeping away the dust that blows in. It is a lot of work to keep things organized when there are so many people around. The 99Rs Shop is basically just us trying to keep up with everyone who comes through. We have been at this spot for quite some time now. Johari Bazar has a specific feel to it that you just get used to after working here for a few months. It is definitely not a place for someone who wants peace and quiet. We usually have a small radio playing in the back room, but you can barely hear it over the sound of the traffic outside. Our neighbors are all doing the same thing as us, just trying to get through the day. Sometimes we grab a chai from the stall around the corner when things finally slow down. It is just a regular shop in a very busy part of the city. We do not have fancy lights or anything. Just 115 Haldiyon Ka Rasta.
