Pooja Trading Company

Pooja Trading Company is located right on N.H. 11. If you are driving on the Jaipur-Chomu Road, you’ll pass through Rampura Dabari and that’s where we are. Being on the highway means there is always dust and the sound of big trucks passing by at all hours. We do a lot of trading here, mostly moving goods back and forth for people who need them. The office isn’t much, just some chairs and a lot of logbooks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who pull in. It’s a busy life, especially when a shipment is late or the weather gets bad. Jaipur can get really hot, and our building absorbs all that sun. We usually have a fan going constantly just to stay sane. It’s a family-run thing, so we all chip in where we can. Some days I’m doing the books, and other days I’m helping load stuff. We’ve been on this stretch of the road for years now. People stop by because they know we are reliable, even if we don’t have a flashy storefront. We just keep things moving along. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s what we know. We close up when the sun goes down, usually, unless there’s something urgent waiting. Just a regular trading post on a long road. It’s a simple life out here on the highway.
