We are Occasions Entertainment and you can find us at number 21 in Shivaji Nagar, over in the Civil Lines area. It’s a fairly quiet part of town, which suits us just fine. We’ve been operating out of this building for several years. It’s an old place with high ceilings and a bit of a draft, but it’s got character. We mostly spend our time planning for various functions and gatherings. There are always folders and loose papers scattered across the big wooden table we use as a desk. We don’t really go in for the fancy office furniture or the high-tech gadgets. We have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the bells from the nearby temple are the only thing we hear all afternoon. It’s a small team here, just three of us usually. We handle everything from the first call to the final cleanup. Civil Lines is a nice place to be based because it’s easy for people to get to, but it’s not as chaotic as the main market. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small one by the gate. People usually come by to talk about their plans in person. We sit in the back room where it’s cooler. It’s not a corporate gig; it’s just a local business we’ve built up over time. We just try to be straightforward with everyone who walks through the door.
