NP Tent House

NP Tent House is our little place in Jaipur G P O Mehro Ki Chokdi, specifically on Khawas Ji Ka Rasta. It’s a narrow lane and sometimes the trucks have a hard time getting in and out. We have to be careful with how we park our vehicles so we don't block the neighbors. The shop is packed with things like carpets, decorative lights, and big wooden poles for the tents. Every morning, the first thing we do is sweep the front because the street gets quite dirty. We’ve been in this part of the city for a long time now. The neighbors are mostly other shopkeepers and we all know each other. We don't have any fancy signs or a big office. It’s just a room where we store our gear and a small desk where we talk to people. When someone has a wedding, they come to us and we sit down to figure out how many tents they will need. Sometimes we run out of certain colors, so we have to call around. The tea guy comes by around eleven and we take a short break. It gets really busy during the wedding season, and we barely have time to eat our lunch. We are just regular people working hard to keep the business going in this crowded part of town. It is not always easy but we make it work somehow.
