New Kumar Tent House

You can find New Kumar Tent House at 63-65 on the Raja Park Jawahar Nagar Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road with lots of other shops and people walking by all day. We’ve got a good amount of space here, which is necessary because all those tents and decorative items take up a lot of room. Most of our days are spent loading or unloading equipment from the back of trucks. The traffic right outside can be a bit much, especially in the late evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. Inside the shop, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and big stacks of various equipment. We have a small wooden desk where we keep our papers and talk to anyone who comes in to ask about a booking. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to really deal with that. It’s a practical workspace and definitely not a fancy showroom. We’ve been here in Raja Park for a long time, so most of the other shop owners nearby are like friends to us. Sometimes the neighborhood kids play right outside our doors. We try to keep everything moving smoothly even when our schedule gets really tight during the busy months. It gets a little chaotic sometimes, but we always manage to get the work finished. We usually close up once the street starts to get quiet at night. It’s just us here.
