New Khakhla Tent House

We’ve been here on Laduno Road near Chungi Naka for a long time now. New Khakhla Tent House is basically just us helping out when someone has a wedding or a big prayer meeting at home. We have these large stacks of iron poles and heavy cloth bundles sitting in the back. It gets pretty dusty here being so close to the main road, but that’s just how Jaipur G P O area is. In the mornings, we usually check the inventory to see if anything got torn from the last job. Most days involve loading up the rickshaw or the small truck with chairs and those big colorful carpets. It's hard work, especially when the sun is really beating down on the road. We don't really have a big office or anything, just a desk where we sit and talk to people about what they need. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since we're right by the landmark. We try to keep things organized but with all the ropes and pipes, it stays a bit messy. It’s a family thing mostly. We know the neighbors and the other shopkeepers around here pretty well. When the wedding season starts, we hardly get any sleep because we're out late setting up and then back early to take things down. It’s just the way it goes in this business. We’ve seen the road change a lot over the years, more traffic now for sure.
