Our spot is D-35 in Gulabi Nagar, which is part of the Sushilpura area near Ajmer Road. It’s a bit of a tucked-away location, but it works for what we do at Narendra Papad Udyog. If you come by, you’ll likely see us busy with the daily grind. Making papad is something that takes up a lot of space and time. We have to watch the weather because it affects how things dry out. The house or building we use is pretty standard for this area. We don't have a big corporate sign, just the name so people know they’ve found the right door. Inside, it's mostly about the ingredients and the rolling pins. There’s a lot of dust from the flour, and the air usually smells a bit like spices. We’ve been in this part of Sushilpura for a long time. The neighbors are used to the noise of the work and the vans coming to pick up the orders. It’s a family-style environment where everyone knows their job. We don’t spend money on fancy furniture. Most of our budget goes into the ingredients we buy from the main markets. The street outside can get a bit narrow when a truck is trying to pass, but we manage. It’s a practical life, working with our hands and making sure the packets are filled right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do here in Gulabi Nagar.
