Misrha Tent House

Misrha Tent House is based in Shahpura Saiwadha, right near Tripoliya. It is an old part of town and we like it that way. We have a lot of history in this area. My grandfather was the one who first thought of renting out tents, and it just stayed in the family. We have a lot of different colored cloths and various sizes of tents for all sorts of occasions. Most of the time we are working in the nearby villages or right here in the streets of Shahpura. The summers are the hardest because the heat is just something else when you are out in the open fields setting up a big tent. We drink a lot of tea and just keep moving. Sometimes the orders come in last minute and we have to scramble to get everything ready. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our hands are always calloused from the ropes. We don’t have any fancy management systems. We just write everything down in a big ledger and hope we didn't forget anything. The Tripoliya area is always lively, so there is never a dull moment at the shop. We see a lot of the same faces every day. We aren't looking to become some huge company; we just want to keep doing what we've been doing for the folks around here. It's a decent living and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
