Ratoomal

Ratoomal is located on the ground floor of Ratan Niwas. If you are on MI Road, we are right across from Anukampa Mansion- 1. It is a pretty well-known spot in this part of the city. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking past our windows every day. The building itself, Ratan Niwas, has a bit of history to it, and you can feel that when you walk inside. Our space is functional and straightforward. We have some old wooden furniture and a clock that ticks a little too loudly when it is quiet. We usually start our day by opening up the shutters and letting some air in. MI Road can get very crowded with tourists and locals alike, so there is always something to look at. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We are more concerned with just getting through our daily tasks and making sure everything is in order. It is a solid place to work, and we have a good rhythm going. Sometimes we grab lunch from the stalls nearby and eat at our desks. It is just a regular life here at Ratoomal. No fancy bells or whistles, just us doing our jobs on MI Road. We have been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to most of us.
