Meenakshi Tent House

Meenakshi Tent House is based near the Jaipur G P O in the Virat Nagar area. We spend most of our time out on the road, setting up for weddings, religious functions, and local gatherings. Our main storage space is filled with all kinds of things like heavy iron poles, rolls of colorful fabric, and stacks of plastic chairs. It’s a lot of physical work, and our crew is usually busy loading and unloading the trucks at all hours of the day and night. During the peak wedding season, it gets incredibly chaotic, and we barely have time to sit down. We have been doing this for many years, so we’ve seen all kinds of weather, from heavy rains that soak the tents to the extreme heat that makes the metal poles too hot to touch. The fabric needs a lot of maintenance because it gets dusty and dirty so quickly out in the open. We have some older tents that we keep for smaller backyard events and some newer ones for the bigger celebrations. People from the neighborhood often stop by the office to ask about prices or to see what colors of cloth we have available for their functions. It’s a family business, and we handle everything ourselves, from the bookings to the actual setup on the ground. It isn't always easy work, especially with the heavy lifting, but it’s the work we have been doing since we opened up.
