Manoj Caterers

Our place is called Manoj Caterers and you can find us at 6/39, Nr Police Station, Vidhyadhar Nagar. Having the station nearby is good because the street stays quiet and safe most of the time. We have been in this space for several years. It is essentially just a big kitchen with a small area in the back to keep our serving trays and spoons. We do not have any fancy decorations because we are usually too busy to care about how the walls look. Most of the action happens around the big burners where it is hot and loud. We make food for local offices and some of the community events in the nearby parks. It involves a lot of lifting heavy pots and moving crates around. My clothes usually smell like onions and spices by the time I go home. We have a small team of local people. We do not have a manager or a human resources department. If a pipe leaks, we just wrap some tape around it and keep going. Manoj Caterers is a very simple business. We show up in the morning, do the cooking, and make sure the food gets where it needs to go. Some days are stressful when we have too many orders at once, but we just work through it together. It is not complicated, just a bit tiring at the end of the day. We like being in Vidhyadhar Nagar because it is a good spot for us.
