Mangal Dal & Oil Mill

Our mill is located out in Village Post Lalsot. Being in a place like the Dausa district means we are surrounded by a lot of farmland and open space. Mangal Dal & Oil Mill isn't a huge industrial operation; it’s more of a local fixture in the tehsil that people rely on. The sounds of the heavy machines are just part of the daily routine around here. When the oil is being pressed, you can smell it from quite a way down the road. It’s hard work keeping everything running smoothly, especially during the harvest seasons when every farmer is bringing in their crops at the same time. We spend a lot of our hours just maintaining the equipment and making sure the dal is processed the right way. The building itself is old and has seen its fair share of weather over the years. We don't spend any money on decorations or flashy signs because people in the village already know exactly where we are. Usually, you’ll find someone hanging around the front talking about the local weather or the current crop prices. It’s a practical business for practical people. We deal with the locals and the farmers from the nearby areas mostly. There’s always dust in the air and the floor is never perfectly clean, but that’s just the nature of a working mill. We just focus on getting the daily work done. It’s quiet in the evenings once the machines stop.
