Maha Laxmi Tent House

If you go down Amarpali Marg in Vaishali Nagar, you will find our spot, Maha Laxmi Tent House. It is a busy area with a lot of shops and people always moving about. We have been here for a while now. Most of our days are spent loading up the carts or organizing the decorations we have in storage. We do a lot of birthdays and community events right here in the neighborhood. The space we have is not very large, so things are piled up pretty high. My brother and I manage most of it, along with two guys who help with the heavy lifting. The traffic on Amarpali Marg can be a real headache when we are trying to unload the poles. We have seen the area change a lot over the years, with more buildings going up everywhere. Sometimes people come in with very specific ideas they saw on the internet, and we have to tell them what we can actually do with the stuff we have. We aren't a big corporation; we are just a local family trying to make a living. The work is dirty and we get tired, but it’s what we know. We don't have a glossy catalog or anything. People just come in, look at what we have in the back, and we agree on a price. It's an honest way to work and keeps us connected to the neighbors.
