Madhuban

Our shop, Madhuban, is located at G-13 in Pratap Plaza. If you’re driving down Tonk Road, you’ve probably passed us a hundred times. It’s a busy stretch of road, and the noise from the flyover is something we’ve just learned to live with. Pratap Plaza is a decent building, though it can get a bit dusty with all the construction that always seems to be happening nearby. Inside Madhuban, we try to keep things fairly simple. We aren't a big chain with a hundred locations. This is it. We have our regulars who drop by just to say hello or to pick up what they need. The lighting in the back is a little dim, but we know our way around the shelves. We spend a lot of time organizing things only to have to do it all over again the next morning. It’s a small operation, really. Just a couple of us handling the day-to-day stuff. We don't have a fancy website or a spokesperson. If you have a question, you just talk to whoever is standing behind the counter. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the traffic noise. It’s a practical way to run a business. We focus on what’s in front of us and try to make sure we don't miss any small details. It is just honest work.
