We are located over in Vivekanand Colony at the Shukham Govindam Apartment. Our unit is B-2, A-2/1, right near Tagore School. It’s a bit unusual running a food and beverage business out of an apartment complex, but we make it work for us in our own way. Most of our day involves managing the inventory and getting the bottles and various snacks ready for distribution. Space is a bit tight in here, so we have to be very careful about where we stack things so we don't trip. We don't have a big warehouse or a huge fleet of trucks. It’s more of a small-scale operation where we handle every single item personally. You can often see us moving boxes through the hallway or waiting by the main gate for a pickup. The neighbors are mostly used to our coming and going by now. We don't have any polished sales pitches or a big mission statement to show off. We just focus on the drinks and the food items we handle every day. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a big shipment arrives and we have to find a place for everything in the unit. It’s just a few of us working together in this small space. We keep the records in a simple notebook and try to stay on top of the orders. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra overhead. We’re just local people doing our jobs.
