Kishna Foods

Kishna Foods is located right on Nangal Road in the Amer area. We are situated quite close to the CISF camp and Shayam Doongri over in Kunda. The road out here can be a bit of a challenge when it rains, but it is home to us. We do a lot of food prep and packing in our facility. It is a small operation, really just a handful of us and some helpers from the local neighborhood who come in daily. We don't have any of that high-tech fancy machinery you see on TV. We just have the basic tools we need to get our food products ready for the local shops. The air in here usually smells like whatever we are processing that morning, which is usually quite nice. We started this business because we wanted to do something for ourselves instead of working for a big boss. It is not always easy, and some weeks are definitely slower than others, but we manage to keep the lights on. We don't spend much time talking about ourselves or what we do. We just let the quality of the food do the talking for us. People around this part of Kunda know we are honest folks. We have a small area at the front where people can walk in and buy things directly from us. It gets a bit crowded with all the crates and boxes piled up, but nobody seems to mind much. We like being a local name and knowing the families who eat our products.
