Khandelwal Caterers

We operate out of 148, Shankar Colony, which is over in the Naya Khera part of Vidhyadhar Nagar, Section 1. It is a residential area, so our setup is nestled right in with the houses. Khandelwal Caterers has been a part of this neighborhood for quite some time now. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms and fancy logos. We are just a group of people who know how to cook for large groups. Most of our work happens right here in this kitchen, where we prep everything before loading it into the trucks. It gets quite busy on weekend mornings. You’ll see us carrying out big crates of vegetables and heavy bags of rice. We do a lot of traditional Rajasthani dishes because that’s what our customers usually ask for. It’s the kind of food we eat at home, just made in much larger quantities. We don't have a showroom or a fancy office to meet clients. Usually, people just come by the house here in Shankar Colony, and we sit down and figure out the menu on a piece of paper. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us and our customers. We’ve grown slowly over the years just by doing one job at a time. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we like being our own bosses and serving the people around Vidhyadhar Nagar. We hope to keep doing this for a long time.
