Atolia International

If you go down to Johari Bazar and find Gopalji Ka Rasta, you’ll see where Atolia International is. We are right by the Vijay Gopalji Ka Mandir. It is a very old and famous part of the city. Being in such a busy market means there is never a dull moment. The bells from the temple ring throughout the day and the smell of street food is always in the air. We work out of this space handling various goods that come through the bazar. It’s a tight squeeze sometimes because these old streets weren't built for big trucks. We have to carry things by hand quite a bit. Our office is tucked away in the building, filled with papers and samples. We spend a lot of time talking to traders and people walking through the market. Johari Bazar is known for its history and we feel like a small piece of that. The walls here are thick and keep things a bit cooler when the Rajasthan sun is hitting hard outside. We don't have any corporate protocols or anything like that. We just open up, greet the neighbors, and get to work. It’s a lot of manual labor and talking to people face to face. Sometimes we stay late when the market is particularly crowded during festival seasons. It’s just the way life goes here in the heart of the old city.
