You can find us at 252 Johari, which is right in the heart of the local trade area. It’s an old spot, and the building has seen better days, but it’s where everyone in the trade knows to come. We aren't a big corporate entity with glass walls; we’re more of a hub for the folks working in the jewelry business nearby. Most days, someone is dropping in to ask a question or check on some paperwork. The office is usually a bit dusty and the chairs don't always match, but it serves its purpose well enough. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because that's not why we are here. Our main thing is just keeping the local association running and making sure members have a place to meet. There’s always a bit of chatter going on about market prices or new rules that someone heard about. It gets pretty loud when a few of the regulars get started on a topic they care about. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like Johari, things have a way of being a bit loose and informal. That’s just the nature of the street. If you walk past, you might not even notice the entrance at first, but once you’re inside, it’s all business. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we don't see that changing anytime soon. It’s just a group of people from the same trade trying to look out for each other in their own way.
