Jaipur Hardware Merchants Associations (Regd)

The Jaipur Hardware Merchants Association is located at S-3, Bichoon House, right in the middle of Kishanpole Bazar. If you know Jaipur, you know this area is as traditional as it gets. The bazar is always crowded with people buying and selling all sorts of things, and the air is usually thick with the sounds of the market. Our office in Bichoon House is a bit of a refuge from that chaos, though it’s still quite humble. We’ve been here for a long time, and the walls are lined with old records and photos of members from years ago. It’s a registered association, so we deal with a lot of administrative stuff for the local hardware community. There’s no high-tech gadgets or modern minimalist furniture here. Instead, we have heavy wooden desks, ceiling fans that have been spinning for decades, and a lot of registers that are filled out by hand. People drop by all the time just to talk shop or ask a question about local trade. It’s a very social place in an old-fashioned way. We don’t have a website that’s updated every five minutes or a social media manager. We just have a desk, a telephone, and some chairs for whoever stops by. It’s the kind of place where things move a bit slower, and people still take the time to sit down and have a glass of water while they discuss business. It’s very much a part of the old city.
