Jain Marriage Bureau

Johari Bazar is always crowded, and our spot at Ghee Walon Ka Rasta 29 is right in the middle of it all. Jain Marriage Bureau has been here for a while now. We mostly spend our mornings sorting through papers and taking calls from parents who are looking for matches. The shop isn't very big, and the walls are filled with files. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner comes by twice before we even get a chance to sit down. People walk in with high hopes, and we just try to show them what we have in the registers. It’s not like those big websites where everything is automatic. Here, you have to sit down and talk. We know most of the families around here anyway. The street outside is noisy with scooters and people shopping for jewelry, but inside it’s just us and the records. We don’t have fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still done the old way because that’s how people like it. Sometimes a fan makes a bit of noise, but nobody really minds. We just keep track of who is looking for what and try to help out when someone asks. It’s a lot of talking and listening to what people want for their kids. Nothing fancy happens here, just the daily work of running a bureau in a busy market like Johari Bazar.
