You can find us at No. B 11, C 1/2 in the Riico Industrial Area in Malviya Nagar. It’s a pretty standard spot for a food business in Jaipur. We’ve been operating out of these units for several years now. It’s mostly a family thing, with a few extra hands to help with the heavy lifting. The sun hits the front of the building really hard in the morning, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We process and pack different food items here. The smell of spices or grains is always in the air, depending on what we’re working on that week. We don't have a showroom or anything like that because we mostly sell to wholesalers. The floor is concrete and we keep it as clean as possible, which is a constant battle with all the sacks moving around. Sometimes the tempo drivers get grumpy if they have to wait to load, so we try to move fast. We have a small table in the back where we take our breaks and drink a lot of water. It’s a simple setup without any corporate fluff. We don’t have a website that’s updated often or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just show up at the gate or call the landline. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied throughout the year. We just focus on what's right in front of us.
