Jai Ashoka Tent House

Our place is Jai Ashoka Tent House, and we are situated right by the Sanganer Thana Circle. It’s a very busy spot because of the police station and all the traffic coming through the circle. You can always hear horns honking and people shouting outside. We keep all our tent supplies here. There are big wooden crates filled with decorative lights and bundles of carpets that smell a bit like old dust. It’s a lot of work to keep everything clean, especially when it rains. We spend a lot of time drying out the fabrics and checking the poles for rust. The office part is just a small space with an old fan and a few chairs for guests. We have a big ledger book where we write down the dates for bookings. Sometimes we lose the pen and have to hunt around for it under the papers. People come in looking for stuff for religious festivals or small home parties. We just tell them what we have available. Sanganer is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it all. The work is hard on the hands because of all the ropes and heavy lifting. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see our sign at the circle and come in to talk. It’s just how we’ve always done it. We try to be organized, but during the peak season, things just get a little chaotic no matter how hard we try.
