J D Optium Event Mgmt is located right here in the Navjeen Cplx, which is a busy spot on Station Rd. If you’ve ever been near the station, you know how noisy and crowded it gets around here. Our office is in F-116 and it's usually filled with boxes, lights, and bits of decor from the last job we did. We spend most of our time out on the field, but this is where we plan things out and meet people. It’s a lot of running around, honestly. One day we are checking on a sound system and the next we are trying to find the right colored drapes for a small party. Being on Station Rd makes it easy for vendors to drop things off, though parking is always a headache for us. We’ve been working out of this complex for a while now and the neighbors know us as the ones always carrying heavy stuff up the stairs. It isn't a glamorous job like people think. There is a lot of sweat and late-night cleaning involved. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Sometimes we forget to even eat lunch because a delivery is late or a client changed their mind about something last minute. That is just how it goes in this business. We are usually here till late at night making sure the next day's schedule is set.
