Intact Foods Private Limited

Our business, Intact Foods Private Limited, sits at 12 New Dhanmandi Yoj Ai. If you have ever been to a mandi, you know exactly what it is like. It is loud, crowded, and there is always a layer of dust from the grain sacks being tossed around. Our spot is right in the middle of all that chaos. We have a basic office and a storage area where we keep the food stocks. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to get it done. We are too busy dealing with the farmers and the traders who come in and out all day. The smell of raw wheat and spices is everywhere. It is a very physical environment. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the quality of the bags and making sure the weights are right. Our desk is covered in loose papers and old invoices that we swear we will organize next week. There is a small tea stall just a few doors down, and we probably spend too much money there every day. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values. We just try to be honest with the people we buy from and the people we sell to. It is a tough way to make a living sometimes, especially when the prices fluctuate, but it is what we know. We just keep moving.
