Hind Rajasthan Band

Hind Rajasthan Band is found at the corner of a gali in Chaksu Ka Chowk, near Sambhar Phiniwala on Maldion Ka Rasta in Johri Bazar. We are a traditional brass band and our shop is filled with trumpets, drums, and colorful uniforms. This spot in the old city is very famous, and there is always something happening right outside our door. When wedding season comes around, this corner becomes a very loud and busy place. We spend our days practicing and making sure the instruments are polished and the lights on the decorative umbrellas are working. It is a lot of tradition packed into a small corner shop. We don't have a fancy business model; we just wait for people to come in and book us for their processions. The neighborhood is full of history, and being near Sambhar Phiniwala means there are always people walking by. Our uniforms are kept in big cupboards and we are constantly getting them mended or cleaned. It is a noisy, joyful kind of business to be in. We are just a group of musicians who have been doing this for years in the same spot. We don't do much online stuff or big ads. People just hear the music or see our sign at the corner of the gali and come talk to us. It is a local way of doing things that hasn't changed much over the years.
