Harh Catters

Harh Catters operates out of 269, Kalyanji Ka Rasta, which is very close to Indra Bazar. It is a busy neighborhood and we are always on the move. Catering is a lot of work that people don't see, like cleaning big metal pots and sorting through hundreds of plates. Our space at Kalyanji Ka Rasta is where all the prep happens before we head out to an event. It can get pretty chaotic when we have two or three jobs on the same day. We are constantly checking our lists to make sure we haven't forgotten the spoons or the serving trays. Indira Bazar is right there, so it is easy to pick up extra supplies if we run short on something at the last minute. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs. Usually, we are just standing around the kitchen area or loading the van. It is a family-run kind of thing and we all pitch in where we are needed. Sometimes the traffic in the narrow lanes makes it hard to get the equipment out, so we have to start very early in the morning. We just focus on getting the food cooked and delivered on time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from one wedding season to the next. We don't do much talk; we just get the job done for the people who hire us.
