Hans Tent House

Hans Tent House is right on the Purana Road in Kotputli Bazar. If you know the Paota area, you know how crowded the market gets on certain days. We are based in Tehsil Kotputli and have been around here for quite a while. Our shop is easy to find if you are walking through the old bazaar. We spend most of our time sorting through carpets and checking the tent poles for any rust. The heat in Paota can be really something during May. We usually drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next truck to be loaded. It’s a family-run thing, mostly. We don't use any fancy computers to track things, just a big ledger where we write down who took what. Sometimes the traffic on Purana Road makes it hard to get the vehicles out quickly, but we manage. My brothers and I handle the heavy lifting. We’ve done setups for all sorts of local gatherings. The fabric needs a lot of washing after the wedding season ends. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The neighbors know us well and often stop by just to chat. It is a simple life here in the market, nothing too complicated. We just make sure the tents are ready when people need them. We have seen many families grow up while working here in the town.
