Guru Nanak Tent Decorators

We have been working out of Sanganeri Gate for a long time now. The address is 867, right in the thick of things. Our days are mostly spent loading and unloading heavy poles and bundles of fabric from the back of trucks. It is physical work and we get tired, but that is how it goes. If you come by the shop, you will probably see us sorting through piles of cloth or checking the lights. We do not have a fancy office with air conditioning. It is just a workspace where we get things ready for the next event. Sometimes it is a wedding nearby and other times we have to travel a bit further out. We have seen all kinds of weather here, from the heavy rains that make everything muddy to the dry heat that makes the fabric feel hot to the touch. We just get the job done. We do not use big words or have meetings. We just talk about where the tents need to go and how many chairs are needed. Sometimes a pipe gets bent or a curtain gets a tear, and we spend the afternoon fixing it up. It is a local life. People know us in this part of town. We have been around long enough that we don't need a big sign. We just keep our stuff organized and wait for the next person to walk through the door with a plan. It is hard work but it is what we know how to do.
