Down in C Scheme at Tentwala Chambers, you’ll find our place on Subhash Marg, D-50. My family has been running this tent house for quite a few years now. Poles, colorful fabrics, and chairs for functions are what we mostly deal with every day. My daily routine involves checking the inventory and making sure the loaders don't forget small things like ropes or extra stakes. During the wedding season, things get really busy and we’re often up until two in the morning getting everything packed into the trucks. The warehouse is a bit of a mess sometimes because things move so fast, but we generally know where everything is kept. Our office isn't much to look at, just some wooden chairs and a big desk with piles of old diaries. We don't do fancy advertising or have a big sales team. People around here just know us as the Singhal family. The Jaipur sun can be brutal, so the fabrics get faded and we have to replace them more than I’d like. It’s a lot of physical labor, dragging heavy bundles around and sweating in the heat. We just try to get the setups done right so people can have their events without the tent falling down. It’s a simple, local business and we’re just here doing our work without any big fuss or corporate talk.
