Gaytri Imitation Jewellery

You can find our shop right in the middle of everything at No. 173 Mehndi Ka Chowk in Badi Chopar. Being in such an old part of the city means it is always noisy and there is always something happening right outside our front door. Gaytri Imitation Jewellery is a small place, mostly filled up with bangles, necklaces, and all kinds of shiny things that people like to buy for weddings or local festivals. It is pretty packed inside because we try to show off as much as we can on the walls and in the little glass cases we have. Some of the wooden shelves are a bit crooked now, but they still hold everything just fine. We get all kinds of people coming through Mehndi Ka Chowk, from tourists looking around to locals who have lived here their whole lives. My father was the one who started this place, and I have been helping him out here since I was just a kid. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the shop, but we have a small stool where we sit and wait for the customers to stop by. We do not use any fancy sales tactics or anything like that. People just come in, look at what we have, and ask the price. We just try to keep things fair and simple for everyone who visits us at number 173.
