Event Guru

Our office is out on Sikar Road in Jaipur, specifically in the Murlipura Scheme. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it’s a good spot. We do event planning, but we don’t call ourselves gurus because we think we’re better than anyone else—it’s just a name. Most of our days are spent talking to tent house guys, caterers, and florists. Jaipur is famous for big weddings and events, so we stay pretty busy most of the year. Our office at A-82-83 is usually a mess of seating charts and color samples. It gets pretty loud when everyone is on the phone at once. We don’t have a corporate handbook or anything. We just know how to get things organized so a party doesn’t turn into a disaster. It’s a lot of physical work too, not just sitting at desks. We’re often out at sites in the heat, making sure the stage is built right. We’ve had our fair share of mishaps over the years, but that’s how you learn. We’re just a local team that knows the Jaipur circuit well. We don’t promise miracles, just a lot of hard work and making sure the guest of honor is happy. It’s a hectic life, but we wouldn’t know what else to do with our time. We just take it one day and one ceremony at a time and hope the weather stays nice.
