We are located in Malviya Nagar, and as the name suggests, we mostly focus on making dosas. It is a simple setup, nothing too grand or complicated. We have a large flat tawa that stays hot pretty much all day long. The sound of the batter hitting the metal is something I hear in my sleep sometimes. We started this place because we wanted to have a spot where people could get a quick, warm meal without any fuss. Malviya Nagar has a lot of students and office goers, so we see a diverse crowd throughout the week. We don't have a long menu with hundreds of items; we just do a few things that we know how to handle. The chutney and sambar are made fresh in the morning and usually run out by the end of the evening. It is often quite loud in here, with the scraping of the spatulas and people calling out their orders. We don't have fancy waiters or linen tablecloths. You just come in, get your food, and enjoy it while it is hot. Sometimes the place gets a bit cramped when it is raining, but people don't seem to mind squeezing in. We just keep our heads down and keep the tawa going. It is just a small local eatery trying to serve the neighborhood as best as we can every day. We hope that when you leave, you feel full.
