Choudhary Food Product

Post-Jatwara is a small enough place that everyone knows where the Main Market is. That’s where we set up Choudhary Food Product. Being in the Tehsil-Bassi area means we are surrounded by a lot of farms and people who know their food. We started this because we wanted to do something with the local produce that comes from our own surroundings. The shop itself is nothing fancy. It has white tiled walls and some heavy-duty tables where we do all the prep work. You can usually smell whatever we are processing from down the street. It’s a lot of washing, cutting, and packing. My hands are usually tired by the end of the day, but it’s good work. We don't use any high-end marketing strategies or have a social media manager. Most of our business comes from people walking through the market and seeing what we have fresh that day. The cooling unit hums loudly in the background all day long, which you eventually stop noticing after an hour or two. We get our supplies from the local guys, so we know exactly what we’re getting. Sometimes the market gets so crowded on weekends that it’s hard to even get through the front door. We just take it as it comes. It’s a humble business, but it keeps the family fed and gives us something to do together. We stay busy until the sun goes down.
