China Town is tucked away in the Malviya Nagar area. We have been cooking food here for quite some time now. The kitchen is always noisy with the sound of the woks and the smell of the various spices we use. It is a local spot where people from the nearby blocks come when they do not feel like cooking at home. We have a few staff members who have stayed with us since the very first day we opened. The lighting inside the shop is a bit bright, but it helps us see exactly what we are doing. Malviya Nagar is a very busy neighborhood, so there is always someone walking by the window. We handle a lot of take-away orders, especially on those cold evenings when people stay inside. The phone rings a lot throughout the night. Sometimes we get an address wrong and have to call the customer back, but we usually figure it out in the end. It is a bit chaotic during the main dinner rush. We try our best to keep the floor clean, but it is difficult when it is raining or muddy outside. We are not trying to be fancy or anything like that. We just serve the food and hope that people leave feeling full. My uncle started this place, and now we all just chip in to keep it going. It is a family thing for us, and we spend most of our time here.
