Chilly Sauces

Chilly Sauces is our little shop at number 24 in Malviya Nagar. We are right opposite Gaurav Tower, which is a big landmark around here. Because of the tower, there is always a lot of activity on the street. It can be hard to find a place to park sometimes. We’ve been here for a long time. The shop itself is pretty small and we have to be careful with how we stack things so we don't run out of room. We spend a lot of our time just managing the inventory in the back. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when new stock arrives. The front of the shop gets a lot of dust from the road, so we are always cleaning the glass. We don't have any corporate office or anything. It’s just the shop and us. We usually have a tea break in the afternoon when things quiet down a bit. The heat in Malviya Nagar can be quite something in May and June, so we stay inside with the cooler on. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We know the guy who runs the pharmacy and the one at the stationery shop. It’s a nice community feeling even though it’s so busy. We don’t really use a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, open the doors, and do our work until it’s time to go home.
