You can find us at 426 Chandpole Bazar. We are right near the Hanuman Temple. It is a very busy market area with people everywhere. If you come by, you’ll hear the bells from the temple all day long. We make bags of all kinds here. School bags, travel bags, and some smaller pouches for tools. The shop is narrow but goes back quite a way into the building. We have sewing machines lined up along the side wall. The fabric rolls take up a lot of our storage space. We’ve been in the bazar for a long time. My father started this business and now we just keep it going. It’s a family thing for us. We talk to the other shopkeepers every day. It’s a tight community in this part of town. We don’t do any big advertising or marketing. People know us because we’ve been here so long. Sometimes the bazar gets so crowded you can barely walk through the street. We just stack the finished bags near the door for people to see as they pass by. It’s dusty work but we like it well enough. The temple gives the whole street a nice feel. We work six days a week, usually. Sundays we take off to rest and be with family. It’s not fancy, just a lot of canvas and zippers and hard work. If you need a sturdy bag, we probably have something that will work.
