Calcutta Trader Center

Tripoliya Bazar is one of those old parts of the city where everything feels like it’s been there forever. Calcutta Trader Center is at number 22. It’s a narrow shop, like most of them in this bazaar. We’ve been trading here for a long time. The street outside is full of people, cows, and rickshaws all trying to get through at once. Inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We sell all sorts of items—it’s more of a general trading place than anything specific. You might find hardware, household goods, or random supplies depending on what we’ve got in stock that week. The shelves go all the way up to the high ceiling, and we have to use an old wooden ladder to reach the top ones. It’s a bit rickety, but it hasn't let us down yet. The walls are thick and stay cool even when it's hot outside. We know all the other traders in Tripoliya Bazar. We’ve seen the market change over the decades, but the feel of it stays the same. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the regulars who have been buying from us for generations. It’s not a modern store with bright lights and scanners.
