You’ll find us at 812 Guru Ramdas Marg, right in the heart of Adarsh Nagar. We’ve been making flavors and fragrances here for quite a while. Our building isn’t much to look at from the outside, but inside it’s full of different smells that change every hour. One minute it smells like ripe mangoes, and the next it’s more like a fresh field of flowers. We spend most of our time in the back where the mixing happens. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us who have learned over the years how to get the balance right. We supply to local bakeries and small soap makers who need specific scents for their products. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. Most of our customers come to us because someone else told them we do decent work. The office area is just a couple of desks and a shelf full of tiny sample bottles that we’ve collected over the years. Sometimes we sit around trying to figure out a new scent for hours until we get it just right. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when the delivery vans are loading up in the morning. We like being in Adarsh Nagar; it feels like home to us. We just keep doing what we know how to do, making sure the bottles are filled and the orders go out on time. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy.
