Bikaner Jaipur Bhandar

We have been here at MGD Market for quite a while now. Most days it gets pretty crowded around here because of all the other shops nearby. Bikaner Jaipur Bhandar is just a small place but we keep busy from morning till the shutters go down at night. People come in looking for the usual snacks or something sweet to take home to their kids. It isn't anything fancy, just a counter and some shelves. We spend a lot of time just organizing the boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud and it’s hard to hear what the customers are saying. My father used to handle things before me and now I am the one sitting here every day. We know most of the people who walk past our door by their first names. If someone wants something specific they usually tell us a day before so we can have it ready. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the dust coming in from the market street. We don't really have a big team, just a couple of us doing the work and keeping the place running. It’s a simple life and the work keeps us on our feet. We don't go for big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are and they stop by when they need something for their tea time or a small celebration at home.
