Ankur Creation

Ankur Creation is located on the ground floor of D/19/a on Meera Marg in the Bani Park area. We are very close to the Dudh Misthan Bhandar, which is a great landmark because everyone knows where to get their sweets around here. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to carry heavy boxes up any stairs. The street is generally okay, though it gets a bit jammed up during the festival seasons. Our space is basically one large room where we handle all our work. It’s got high ceilings but the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We aren't too worried about that though. We care more about what’s happening on our work tables. Every morning we open the shutters and get to work. The shop stays relatively cool because of the way the building is set up, which is a relief in the summer heat. We see a lot of people walking by on their way to the sweet shop. Sometimes they peek in to see what we are doing or to ask for directions. We are just a local bunch of folks trying to keep the shop running. We do our own packing and sometimes we even deliver things ourselves if it’s nearby. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just focused on the day's tasks and making sure we get everything finished by the time we close the shutters for the night.
