Anamika Tent House

Over in Phulera, at the Kumawat Colony on Balaji Road, you will find Anamika Tent House. We are near the Kanchroda Baya area, which is a place where most people know each other by their first names. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a practical space where we store all our inventory. We have loads of metal frames and colorful fabrics tucked away inside the rooms. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be very careful when moving the gear out to the trucks. Mostly, it is just a few of us here every day, checking the ropes and making sure the lights are working properly. We do not have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you will probably find one of us sitting on a stool near the front or out back organizing the heavy poles. We do a lot of work for the local families living around Kumawat Colony. It is a lot of heavy lifting, but we are used to that kind of work by now. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too high in the sky. There is a small tea stall just a short walk away where we go for our breaks. It is a quiet way to run a business, just dealing with whatever job is right in front of us that day. We keep our schedules on the wall.
