Santosh Krishi Yantra Laghu Udyog

We are based out in Chomu, specifically on Rampura Dabri Road in Adarsh Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s a lot of open space and plenty of farming activity nearby. Santosh Krishi Yantra Laghu Udyog is where we put together and sell agricultural implements. It’s a "laghu udyog," so it’s a small-scale operation, which is how we like it. The workshop is usually louder than the office part because there’s always someone working on a machine or moving parts around. We have grease on our hands most days. It’s a practical business for a place like Chomu. We aren't sitting around in suits; we’re usually in work clothes trying to figure out why a part isn't fitting right or getting a shipment ready for a local farmer. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, which makes things a bit difficult, but we manage. We’ve been at this for a while and the locals know us by name. We don't have a website that we update or anything fancy like that. We just focus on the machines and making sure they work. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning. It's just how things go here in Adarsh Nagar. Sometimes the dog from the neighboring farm comes to visit and we give him some scraps. It's that kind of place.
